About a year ago I joined Clickfunnels in order to grow my membership program with a new membership marketing funnel. I loved the ability to test funnels quickly and to get my landing and sales pages up. The challenge came in the actual delivery of the membership site and their lack of support.
Actionetics is the behavior automation tool within ClickFunnels. It’s a natively integrated tool that allows you to automate actions like emails, SMS and more with any contacts you have within ClickFunnels. Considering it’s included at the unlimited tier price point ($297/month), if you have high traffic funnels or plan on building a lot of them – you’ll get access to it anyways.
It’s an amazing tool if you’re trying to start an online business or a solopreneur. It allows you to save time and not worry about technical stuff like domain, html, css and all the other technical nonsense that brings you ZERO revenue.
Many CRM systems are now adding marketing functionality such as the ability to send email blasts and set up lead nurturing emails (an automated series of emails). They can also provide you with data on which prospects and leads are clicking on emails and which prospects are not.
ClickFunnels has made it very easy to get started with its innovating onboarding 7-day challenge. It pretty much walks you through how to use the software by making it fun, so if you stick through it to the last day you will know all the ins and outs of Clickfunnels.
This type of funnel builds up anticipation to a product being launched on a specific date. It can include countdown timers, email follow up sequences, free video courses to deliver value first and discounts leading up to the launch date.
Hi Ankit. I really appreciate your eye for research, the way you bring forth some amazing technology for us to learn about. Clickfunnels seems more cost effect vis a vis LeadPages. Any other tools like Clickfunnels?
At the bare minimum, all you have to do is select a template, substitute the placeholder text and images with your own, and hit the Publish button. The only downside of this tool is that it automatically publishes your landing page on your website. And after the landing page is published, you’re presented with a Publish Options menu to modify your landing page’s publish settings, choose other publishing options, or share your page template. The additional publishing options include:
If your main objective is to create excellent landing pages, Leadpages is the better of the two applications. It’s a little harder to use, but its huge range of templates and customization tools make it ideal for split testing a of landing pages as part of a PPC campaign.
When it comes to selling membership sites and online courses, I would really recommend Simplero.com. I’m using them for all my online courses AND you can even build your membership in there. It’s only $100 per month but you can register for free to try it out (only cost you money when you want to charge your customers).
I’d give ClickFunnels a try at the $97 price point, but you probably don’t need the $297 product most likely. Your better off getting really any other email service, Drip, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, etc, and just integrating with it at the form level.
Up until recently, Leadpages didn’t have a drag and drop editor for creating landing pages. However, things have changed now and the powerful landing page tool comes packed with an even more powerful drag and drop editor.
Before starting off with how one is different from the other, it is important to state that both of these tools are awesome in their own ways. To be fair, each tool serves a specific purpose. Despite having differences, there are many ways in which both of these tools overlap.
Price Plans start from $69 per month for the core plan, which is totally great and really accomplishes most of your landing pages dreams. There is also Optimizer plan for $99 per month that includes A/B Testing and Heatmaps features, and Team & Agency plan for $179 per month that adds branded lead notifications, 15 sub-accounts, and more.
For payment gateways, ClickFunnels integrates with Stripe, Paypal, Clickbank, Infusionsoft, Authorize.net and a few others. The one limitation with using Paypal though is that it does not support One Click Upsells or One Time Offers. That’s why I would highly recommend going with Stripe if you can.
